For this purpose, I created a bit of lore for this world of our Feline Friends.
Since the game is based off of politics and allows up to 4 players to play, I decided it would be fitting to have four factions, or nations. While these nations don't actually play into the mechanics of the game, they provide a bit of hidden fun for those who are looking at the art.

At this point in development, the Emblem card will be the only card with different pieces of artwork.

First off, we have the Feline Republic with a design aesthetic that is based off of America and especially Political building's/ offices from Washington DC.
Next up is the Socialist State of Catistan with an aesthetic based off of Communist China and the USSR.
Thirdly is the Kingdom of Purrsia, a medieval style nation with knights, kings and some flares of Fantasy.
Lastly is Anarchy which is just like it sounds. What did it feel like?
A rush of adrenaline and a bit of existential fear as to whether I was really ready to put myself out there like this.

How did you know it was time to share your idea through a Kickstarter project?
I've been wanting to make something like Cats Play Politics for a long time, I just didn't know that it would specifically be Cats Play Politics until quite recently. I also saw the Mint Tin Challenge at the Game Crafter and decided that I should give it a shot.

What kind of feedback is most helpful to receive when sharing creative work?
Honest feedback, most definitely. Even if that feedback is negative in ways. Sometimes if you put too much weight on something, it feels like they are attacking you personally, but if you learn to let go, you can create something greater.

How has putting your project into the world changed things for you?
I've definitely felt a bit stressed because it's actually out there, but it also feels tremendous to see the support that I have received so far. So, thank you.
